Beauchamp, who many years ago owned “Fernleigh” property near Gulgong, and left here for Portland about 30 years ago. Mr. Beauchamp was an alderman of the former Gulgong municipality. The late Mrs. Beauchamp died at the residence of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W. (Clarice) Thorpe, of Portland. A son, Mr. Fred Beauchamp, died last year. The funeral took place to the Church of England portion of the Gulgong cemetery, Rev. John Woodhouse officiating. |
