Death of a maternal grandmother | Mary Wood 21 July 1941 (aged 26 years) DEATHS Mrs. Mary Hextell On Monday night last, in the Mudgee District Hospital, the death occurred of Mrs. Mary Hextell, at the age of 84 years. Deceased was an old resident of Cudgegong where she had lived all her life. She was a highly esteemed citizen, and well known in Mudgee district. To the grown-up family of 12, all residing in Mudgee and district, our deepest sympathy is extended. The funeral took place on Wednesday morning, to the Cudgegong Cemetery, after a service in the Cudgegong Church of England. Archdeacon Bromhead, of Rylstone, officiated.
