The death occurred at the Mudgee Hospital yesterday morning of Elizabeth Margaret, wife of Mr. Albert Cameron, of Gladstone-street, Mudgee, and daughter of Mr. W. Black, of Rylstone. The deceased had been ailing from lung trouble for about six months. She leaves a widower and eleven children (four sons and seven girls), the eldest child being 18 years of age. The body was interred in the Church of England portion of the general cemetery this afternoon. Death of a brother | James Edward Black 19 February 1947 (aged 62 years) Mr. Black The death occurred in the district hospital on February 18 of Mr. Jim Black, o£ Brookside. The late Mr. Black had been in indifferent health for some time, and had made several trips to the city tor treatment. He was born at Brookside 63 years ago, and had resided in the district all his life, carrying on farming pursuits. The funeral took place from the Church of England on Thursday last, and the large attendance was evidence of the esteem in which deceased was held. A widow, three sisters (Mrs. P. Mills, Mrs. A. Fuller and Miss Clara Black) and one ber (Andy, Queensland) are left to mourn their loss. One ber (Bill) and one sister (Mrs. Thompson) predeceased him. Archdeacon Bromhead officiated at the church and at the graveside in the Rylstone General Cemetery (Mudgee Guardian and North-Western Representative, Thursday 27 February 1947, page 18). |
