DEATH

Mr. Thomas Killick Bennett, a member of a very old and respected Appletree Flat family, died in the Mudgee Hospital on Friday last, aged 76 years. Deceased was widely known and highly esteemed throughout the district, and his passing will be deeply deplored. He is survived by a widow and large family of sons and daughters to whom sincere sympathy is extended. The funeral took place to the Appletree Flat cemetery on Saturday morning. Mr. F. Taylor, of the Church of Christ, performing the last sad rites, while Bro. P. Cooke recited the Manchester Unity service. The arrangements were in the hands of Messrs J. C. Swords and Son.
