The death occurred this week in Sydney, where he was holidaying, of Mr. Harold Tattersall, a well known Gulgong resident, at the age of 55 years, and the funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 3 o’clock to the Methodist portion of the Gulgong cemetery. A full obituary will be published next week.

The death occurred in Prince Henry Hospital, Sydney, on Tuesday last, of Mrs. Evelyn Anne Tattersall, of Belmore Street, Gulgong, at the age of 70 years. The late Mrs. Tattersall was predeceased by her husband last year. She is survived by a grown-up family, to whom deep sympathy is extended in their loss. The funeral will take place this afternoon from the Gulgong Methodist Church, Messrs. Eastaugh and Carroll being in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Keith M. Tattersall

People of the Gulgong-Dunedoo district were gravely shocked last week at the sudden death of Mr. Keith Meredith Tattersall, aged 50, on Friday, July 30. Mr. Tattersall was a well known district resident admired and respected by all. His death occurred at his property Avolee, Tallawang, after a short illness. He is survived by his wife Joan, and three young children, Bede, Kerry, Colleen. His parents predeceased him. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Hector, (Sydney), Joyce (Mrs. J. Jones, Tallawang), Enid (Mrs. Vin Morrison, Uarbry), Leo, Madge, (Mrs. Cluff, Newcastle) and Evelyn. On Saturday one of the largest funerals seen in Gulgong for some time was a witness to the esteem in which he was held throughout the entire district. St. John’s Catholic Church was crowded for the funeral service prior to interment in the Gulgong Cemetery. Messrs. Eastaugh and Carroll, funeral directors of Mudgee and Gulgong. Had charge of arrangements.
