SAD PASSING Mr. Robert Pickett, aged 73 years, passed- away in a Mudgee private hospital on Thursday morning last, September 6. Deceased, who married Miss Matilda Freeburn, at Rylstorie in 1904, lived for the past 40 years in Cassilis and Lue districts. He took u a farming property known as Forest View, Lue; where he lived until his death. besides a widow, three children are left to mourn, viz., Len (Cassilis), Harold (Coolah) and Mrs. Arthur Menchin (Lue). The last sad rites were carried out by the Methodist minister at Rylstone on Friday last. Many will regret the passing of this grand old gentleman, whose popularity amongst his fellow citizens was evidenced by one of the largest funerals witnessed in the Lue district.
