A very pretty wedding was celebrated in St. Andrew's Church of England on March 8 last, when Vera Constance, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Shearman, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to John Frederick, seventh son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Corliss. The Rev. L. J. Harwood, M.A., officiated. The bride, who was given away by Mr. C. P. Kane, looked charming in a dress of white crepe de chene and georgette, embroidered with beads, and she wore the customary wreath and veil and carried a shower bouquet. Miss Hazel Shearman (sister of the bride) attended as bridesmaid, and she was gowned in a dress of pink crepe de chene embroidered with beads, and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Mr. R. J. Collison acted as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at MacDonald's Hall, where a large number of guests and friends assembled. The Rev.
