Death of a husband | Paul Canobi 4 January 1917 Age: 60 Local Brevities. Mr. Paul Canobi died at his residence, "Hill View," Gulgong, last week. He was 60 years of age, a native of Lombardy, a resident of Australia for 32 years and of Gulgong district for 27 years. He leaves two sons and two daughters. Death | July 1919 MRS. P. CANOBI We regret to have to report the death of another well-known and highly-esteemed resident of the town, in the person of Mrs. P. Canobi. Deceased passed away at Gulgong after an illness which commenced on Monday, 3rd inst., and the cause of death was pneumonia. The late Mrs. Canobi, who was born at Lue, was 58 years of age, and had resided in Gulgong for 22 years. Deceased was pre-deceased by her husband by about two and half years. Mr. Paul Canobi is the only child, and the following step-children are left to mourn their loss: - Mr. Chris. Canobi, Mrs. F. Menchin, and Miss Mary Canobi. The funeral, which was largely attended, took place on Sunday last, the remains being interred in the R.C. portion of the Gulgong cemetery, the Rev. E. P. O'Donnell officiating at the graveside.
