Death of a sister | Martha Jane Harris April 1927 (aged 64 years) OBITUARY. MRS. MARTHA HARRIS, The death is announced of Mrs. Martha Harris, of Woodlands, Ilford, an old pioneer of the Rylstone district, at the age of 83 years. The late Mrs. Harris was a native of Ilford, England, and arrived here in 1850, travelling with her parents from Sydney to Rylstone by means of a bullock dray. She had resided in the district until her death and was prominently associated with Church and charitable movements. Five of her nephews and five grandchildren went to the Great War. In the Will of William Reuben Harris, late of Baulkham Hills, in the State aforesaid, retired grazier, deceased. Pursuant to the Wills, Probate and Administration Act, 1898 1938: Notice is hereby given that every creditor or other person having any claim against the estate of William Reuben Harris, the abovenamed deceased, who died on the 3lst day of January, 1940, and probate of whose will was, on the 2nd day of April, 1940, granted by the Supreme Court of New South Wales, to Reuben John Harris, of Pymble, gardener, and Hedley William Phelps, of Rowena, grazier, the executors in the said will named, is hereby required to send particulars in writing of such claim to the said Reuben John Harris and the said Hedley William Phelps, in care of the undersigned, David Robert Hall, at his office here undermentioned, on or before the 8tli day of August, 1040, at the expiration of which time the said Reuben John Harris and the said Hedley William Phelps will proceed to distribute the assets of the said deceased amongst the persons entitled thereto, having regard only to the claims of which they then have notice; and notice is hereby given that the said Reuben John Harris and the said Hedley William Phelps will not be liable, for the assets or any part thereof so distributed, to any person of whose claim they shall not have had notice at the time of such distribution.—Dated this 31st day of May, 1940.
