(From our Rylstone Correspondent.) It is with deep regret that I record the death of Mrs. James Brown, widow of the late James Brown, of Rylstone, which took place at her residence, Mudgee-street, Rylstone, on Sunday night last. The deceased lady was 81 years of age, a native of Sydney, having been born in O'Connell-street in the year 1818. She was a daughter of the late Thos. Bloodworth, of Sydney. The deceased leaves a grownup family of two sons and two daughters namely, Messrs. W. L. Brown (Mount Brace); A. A. Brown (Belbowery), Mrs. G. Howe (Rylstone), and Mrs. I. Cousens (Nulty. Bourke). The old lady was possessed of a wonderful memory and excellent eyesight, July 18, 1902 (Sydney Stock and Station Journal, Friday 25 July 1902, page 3).
