Deaths Annie Jane Carlisle Mrs. Annie Jane Carlisle, who resided in Mullamuddy, passed away in Mudgee District Hospital on Tuesday, March 20, aged 85 years. She had been predeceased by her husband also a daughter, Thelma, and left the following sons and daughters Grace, Cecil, Albert, John, Dulcie and Miriam. The service took place on Wednesday afternoon from the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Mudgee, to the Church of England portion of the Ulan Cemetery, Rev. V. Hartwig, officiating. Obituary Mr. J. T. Carlisle John Thomas Carlisle, grazier, of Ulan, died in the Mudgee District Hospital, on Tuesday, aged 58 years. He leaves a widow, Edith Mary, and the following children: Nola, Max, Neville, Thelma, Helen, Kevin and Beryl. A service will be held at the Church of England, Ulan, at 11 a.m. this morning, before interment in the Ulan Cemetery. Funeral arrangements will be conducted by Messrs. Mudgee District Deaths Mrs. Jane Hayden Mrs. Jane Hayden, formerly of Mullamuddy, died on Monday at the age of 91. Her husband, Henry, predeceased her, while children Ethel, May, Reg., Delma, Doris, Mildred, Phil, Edith, Ted and Florence survive. Ulan News Ulan people were saddened by the death last week of one of our most popular young women, Miss Helen Ethel Carlisle, at the age of 29. Helen, who had been ill for some time, will long be remembered for her courage, sense of humour and her friendly nature. Deepest sympathy is extended to her mother, Mrs. Edith Carlisle, her sisters Nola (Mrs. Matherson), Thelma (Mrs. Anderson), Beryl (Mrs. Gibson), bers Neville, Max and Kevin. Her father, the late Jack Carlisle, predeceased her. The funeral took place in the Ulan Cemetery after a service in St. Cuthbert’s Church of England Church at 11 a.m. on Monday.
